As Vianova means “new path” or “new direction”, we find it only fitting to acknowledge individuals or companies that are changing how business is done in the small and midsize sectors, and blazing new trails in the realm of corporate social responsibility. Each week throughout the month of June, Vianova will be highlighting a person or business who has proven themselves as an innovator,
or demonstrated exceptional leadership in their field.
This week’s Changemaker is Karyn Greenstreet. Karyn is a self employment expert and small business coach, and President of Passion For Business LLC. On her website she shares tips, techniques and strategies with self-employed people to boost clarity and focus, create sustainable motivation, and increase sales and profits. In addition to her paid services (coaching, consulting, classes, and speaking engagements), Karyn helps the small business community by sharing valuable content via her blog, videos, and various other resources that help people achieve success.
I made the smart decision to hire Karyn in 2005, where she helped me embark on this amazing journey as an entrepreneur, eventually leading to the launch of Vianova. Her positive attitude and infectious passion for business immediately earned my respect. For her, the old adage holds true: do what you truly love, be of service to others, and the money and success will follow.
A Changemaker like Karyn is especially important in times like these, as the economic situation has limited the number of jobs that are available. Through coaching and consulting, Karyn is giving budding entrepreneurs the tools they need to turn their small business dreams into a reality. For businesses that are already established but may be ready for a change, she’s developed a model for business reinvention that leads towards greater success. Her efforts will no do doubt result in the creation of future Changemakers, and for that we are very pleased to acknowledge her this week.
