It’s interesting (and comforting) to know that even during this painful recession, 80% of consumers feel it’s important for companies to set aside funds for social causes. That’s according to the second annual “goodpurpose ™” study conducted by Edelman. The study also shows “that 83% of consumers are willing to change their own consumption habits to help make tomorrow’s world a better place. “
