  • International Professional Association: Designed and facilitated a highly-interactive 2-day ideation retreat with 60 of the association’s volunteer advisory group members and staff. The participants were guided through a series of fun, engaging, and creative activities to identify and pitch potential initiatives for investment.
  • Scientific Research Institute: Designed and facilitated all staff team building and annual planning offsite for the marketing and communications team. Engagement included assessing the team’s effectiveness, brainstorming on how to make it stronger, and defining key priorities and strategies for the new year.
  • Telemedicine Provider. Designed and facilitated an ideation forum for corporate and academic collaboration.
  • Private School. Designed and facilitated the annual board of trustees retreat. Engagement included conducting board and leadership team surveys, agenda design, and post-session follow-up.
  • Athletic Association: Designed and facilitated an annual board and staff retreat. Engagement included conducting board, staff, and member team surveys, agenda design, facilitation, and post-session follow-up.
  • Government Agency. Designed and facilitated all staff team building and annual planning offsite for a city’s Recycling Team. Engagement included assessing the team’s effectiveness and brainstorming on how to make it stronger.
  • Gift and Art Supply Company. Designed and facilitated an all-staff retreat for an art and gift supply company focused on the rollout of the company’s new guiding principles.
  • Professional Trade Association. Facilitated a leadership orientation meeting for the largest trade association in San Diego County. Engagement included designing and delivering a presentation on board roles and responsibilities to the incoming board of directors, committee chairs, and vice-chairs.
  • Gift and Art Supply Company. Designed and facilitated an all-staff retreat and ideation session for an art and gift supply company to engage employees in generating fresh ideas to grow the business.
  • Government Agency. Facilitated “small table discussions” for the Department of Energy’s Consent-based Siting community input meetings in multiple cities across the US.

Partial List of Recent Engagements

  • Municipality: Designed and facilitated multiple Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) focus groups for all employees of a small city. The purpose was to gather employee insights and perspectives on diversity, equity, and inclusion within their department and the city as a whole. The results of focus groups were used to help shape a tailored DEI training program for all city employees. 
  • Biotech Company: Designed and facilitated multiple employee focus groups for all employees of a fast-growing biotech company. The purpose was to gather employee insights and perspectives on the company’s mission, vision, values, strengths, weaknesses, and culture. Engagement included conducting 12 in-person, virtual, and hybrid sessions and developing a comprehensive report summarizing insights and perspectives from over 90 employees. 
  • Trade Association: Designed and facilitated multiple focus groups to gather insights and perspectives from the association’s members as part of its strategic planning process. Engagement included developing a summary report highlighting feedback from the focus group participants.
